The Hinokami Chronicles is a 3D arena fighter. Let’s talk about those combat encounters for some time. When I played Demon Slayer, few hits really manifested for me, and the biggest complaint that I would hold against it from a tech perspective is the loading times, which look too much too late to avoid the excellent flow that combat encounters can achieve. In terms of logic and graphics, this transition is not surprisingly successful the game is very simple and has an intuitive approach. If it weren’t content-driven, the Switch version is based on the original and does the same thing with the original game. It seems like this extra year was worth avoiding, but now its water subtracted, especially in the Switch port. Now, six years after the first release of mangas and nearly a year after the introduction to every other system, we have Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles, the first, but budget video game adaptation of Japan’s most popular transmedia sensation, on the Switch. Why, even if a game was greenlit, it took quite a while to get to the Switch, despite the way the viewers of the anime and the system would seem a lot alike. Because of the number of acres this land is, it is unclear why it took so long for an adaptation of Demon Slayer to be made in the game.
